CONCH REPUBLIC achieved this top ranking by providing a energetic colorful show that focuses on crowd participation. Crazy characters on stage perform beach tunes from artists like the Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Zac Brown, Harry Belefonte, plus dance favorites such as "Twisting the Night Away, "Walking on Sunshine" and "Heatwave" while engaging the crowd in sing-alongs, conga line and dance contests, topping it off with colorful costumes, lights, stage props and party favors for those who like to join in the fun. Opening for classic bands such as the Beach Boys and K.C. & the Sunshine Band, we have entertained crowds at casinos, ball parks, festivals, wineries, corporate events, weddings, private parties and much more. Our “band of pirates” has been “bringing the beach” to fans since 2006, all across the mid-west and southern states, and is willing to travel any distance to bring the beach party to YOU! The members of CONCH REPUBLIC, consisting of 8 well- trained music professionals, are extremely respected in their fields and include high school band directors, music teachers, trained audio engineers, studio musicians and music producers. For smaller budgets and venues we offer Conch on the Half Shell. The "Half Shell" Show is a lively, acoustic show made up of four to five musicians of the CONCH REPUBLIC and performed with a smaller sound system. Still the fun, beachy songs you love, but unplugged and without the beach background, lights, and beachie props. This show works great for smaller clubs or venues where there is not much space. The Half Shell Show includes a blend of congas, steel drums, ukulele and acoustic guitar, which instantly takes you down to the islands! Don't think just because it is a smaller show, that it's not BIG fun! We still bring along all the energy, just in a smaller package.
