About Matt Smith
Matt’s story is pretty interesting and unique. Matt Smith is a singer/songwriter from Kentucky who began playing guitar and singing at age 10 along with his three brothers. Matt joined the Marine Corps after college and served eight years on active duty. He continues to serve in the Marine Reserves and tributes much of his music success to his service. His band consists of two of his biological brothers as well as Veterans and First Responders know as the 'Band of Brothers'.

Achivements
Performed with Lady Antebellum on CBS at the Academy of Country Music's Salute to the Troops
Performed as part of the PBS "In Performance at the White House" series for the Salute to the Troops Special alongside Willie Nelson, John Fogerty, and many others
Opened for Parmalee, Little Big Town, The Band Perry, Trace Adkins, Danielle Bradbery, Tracy Lawrence, Jason Michael Carroll, and several other National acts.
Matt released his debut single titled "The Mom Looks Good On You". It was recorded in Nashville and produced by Grammy Award Winning producer Tommy Simms (Garth Brooks).
